Mr Manfred William Burger pioneer of the modern sword cane and master craftsman, trained as a tool and die maker. He started making custom knives as a hobby in 1982 and gained voting membership of the Knife makers Guild of South Africa in 1986. Having always been interested in sword canes and their history, he set out to build the “perfect functional sword cane” becoming a specialist in this field and has spent nearly three decades perfecting the art. Resulting in a range of seven quality models of unmatched quality, from the unique Titanium Stiletto Cane to the rugged Country Cane/Hiker to choose from.

In 1996 Barry, his eldest son, also a qualified tool and die maker, joined him making it a family business. Handling sales and expanding the brand at select custom trade shows in many venues around the world, built up a solid reputation for distinguished, bespoke craftsmanship, attention to detail and quality at all levels, with customer service the old fashioned way coming naturally. This combination has evolved into a unique brand sort after by collectors and discerning customers.
