I received the cane the other day, and I am very impressed with your craftsmanship in the design and build of this cane and it’s case.  It’s appearance is just what I was looking for in it’s elegant design and yet not showy. Time will tell if the construction will tolerate my usage, but I’m fairly sure it will. I have only one suggestion, and that is the rubber tips could be of a more durable nature.  On my normal cane I go through a tip every three months on average, and the tips provided with your cane seem to be of a lesser rubber durability and lack an inserted metal washer which protects the cane’s tip should the rubber wear down.

I apologise for not writing earlier, but I have been away from home on several business trips lately and have not had time to write until now. The Mk3 Sword Cane arrived right on time, the box had suffered some external damage from rough handling during the journey, but thanks to your excellent packing there was no damage to the Cane or case. The fit and finish of the Sword Cane is Excellent, and Craftsmanship is Superb! There is no looseness or rattle while walking with the cane, and the locking mechanism is positive and without play. My complements to you and your employees for making such a quality product in this age of mass production! The adjusted length of the cane fits me perfectly, and the weight and balance is perfect. The woven fiber shaft is slightly more of a matte finish than I was expecting from your photographs, but actually I prefer this to a glossy finish as it is less noticeable and less likely to show scratches from daily use. You are correct about the blade length being chosen correctly, it is short enough to be drawn quickly but still long enough to be quite intimidating if deployed in an emergency situation. The balance of the blade is excellent and the turned Tamboli handle is the perfect length. This Sword Cane puts the others in my collection to shame, and will hold an honored position in my home. I will discuss an idea that I had for a MK2 hiking stick / cane combination at a later date, so looking forward to another Sword Cane purchase from you in the future!

Since the item was well packed the scratches could only have originated at the workshops. Now, I'm not upset about the scratches. I mention them so you can look at your manufacturing process to see where the scratches originated, and eliminate the problem.

I had a  pleasant surprise yesterday, when my messenger entered my office carrying a box that I knew immediately was my cane.  It is everything that I wanted it to be, and more. The craftsmanship is superb, and the engraving is beautifully done by someone who must obviously  be a master engraver.  I am extremely pleased.  The blade is excellent, nice edge.  As I mentioned to you, we travel with a very heavy  SWAT security detail, and one of the guards was examining the cane (I did not tell him it was a sword cane) –well, he pressed the release button and got a shock. The package came today. I know all the ladies who work at our post office, and they were all very curious about it. The cane is elegant. Stunning. Discrete and subtle, elegant enough to justify never being confiscated without a fight. It would be equally at home in the halls of congress or in the horse barn.

By owning one of these sticks, I feel I have joined an elite group of people.

The size of the handle was smaller than I expected, but being smaller would make it more versatile and easier to thrust. I expected more of a counter balance between handle and shaft.

The weight is a little further forward on the blade than I expected, it is clearly a rapier.

The fit and finish of each item is superb. The seam between shaft and handle is essentially invisible, all transitions are smooth. The release/lock is sufficient and definitive. I could see myself carrying it during the interval at a west side theatre. The folding knife is elegant and pretty. It locks and releases as if it has done so for a thousand years.

The twisting of the damascus it good, symmetrical, sharp.  The engraving is excellent. I can see all the hand work, and it is good. This walking stick is something to be proud of, and I am.

My custom cane today and I’m thrilled with it. The craftsmanship and quality are evident. I was impressed with the sharpness and clarity of the engraving.  It matches the official drawing of our class crest perfectly. I also liked the US AIR FORCE ACADEMY and Celtic band around the bottom. I wasn’t expecting the narrow Celtic band surrounding the crest and it just sets it off perfectly not that I need a cane, but that I have such a beautiful one with custom engraving.  It’s truly one of a kind. Thank you so much. Now that the ice has been broken, as soon as the economy picks up, I may start considering something even more ambitious with a Mk V and more custom engraving with gold inlay.  These Custom Burger Canes are truly heirlooms.

The Mk1 just arrived and I'm very pleased. The cane itself looks good, especially the T-handle, and it appears to be quite sturdy. Even the case is great. Although a Poniard doesn't require the level of craftsmanship of a double edged blade, I like the little touches you applied to it. It looks really cool. The separation mechanism releasing the blade works smoothly. I'm now even more anxious to get a look at my Kk4 model which is on the way.
