A. How to order a Custom Cane-
There is no order form for Custom Canes, it would be a one on one
discussion via email to decide on the model, handle choice and level of
embellishment and budget you would like to work to. We have many
different styles and options for personalizing our canes as can be seen
in my file photos bellow. Please understand that each Custom Cane is
built from scratch, this level of old world craftsmanship takes
time. The average build time for a "Full House" hand engraved custom
cane is six months, once the 50% deposit has been secured. I use only
the finest hand selected components for these unique custom canes with
many hours of dedication to the finest details and attention to finishes
making your BURGER CUSTOM CANE a truly UNIQUE ONE OFF CUSTOM CANE and
Family heirloom piece
B. What levels of Custom Hand Engraving
do we offer?-
We offer two levels of Custom Hand
Engraving for our quality range of canes-
1. The most economical option to personalize any of our canes is with
the DREMIL Hand Engraving option. This involves free hand engraving in
beautiful script style font of name/initials and date. This style of
dremil engraving is best suited for the blade of Mk2 models and up or
collar of our quality range of canes. This level of Custom Hand
Engraving will set back the shipping of the order by approximately ten
days and starts at $120- The other great custom engraving (option best
suited for our most popular and versatile handle, Ball & Flute Turned
Tamboti handle) is to engrave name/initials or basic logo on the dome of
Tamboti handle, this level of engraving starts at $180-
The above levels of custom embellishment will set back the delivery date
by approximately two weeks once order is confirmed.
2. A-GRADE (Best Grade Bespoke) Hand Engraving is the time honored art
of hammer and chisel free Hand Engraving. This level of engraving is
only recommended for our Mk2 model and up. We have our standard
engraving styles that are very popular and standard levels that we
engrave our quality canes to. Definitions of the levels of engraving we
can go to on our canes are as follows-
Full House Hand Engraving - Incorporates Hand Engraving on all
components of the cane, both sides of the blade to an approximate length
of 130mm (5"), with matching engraving carried over to the collars,
release button, ferrule and handle. Depending on handle choice we
can also carry the engraving style over to the handle incorporating
initials, name or Custom Logo or Family Crest. Custom Engraving of
handle is best suited to the Titanium and 925 Sterling Silver handle.
This level of Full House Engraving starts at $650 - $3700 depending on
style of engraving and 24K gold inlay options.
Other more economical option for best grade hand engraving would be to
select just certain parts of the cane to be engraved- For example- just
the blade cane be engraved or only the external components like the
collars, release button and ferrule and handle.
Another very
Unique Custom Option Burger Canes can offer is the very rare and unique-
STAINLESS DAMASCUS BLADE in the ODIN'S EYE pattern, we only build this
custom option into our Top End Mk3 and Mk4 & Ti Stiletto model range.
These unique Damascus blades compliment Best Grade hand engraving
beautifully or is just a bespoke addition to an already unique piece of
functional art.-The stainless Damascus blade upgrade adds $950- to the
price of the cane.
The building of a Full House BEST-GRADE Hand Engraved Custom Canes takes
time, between two and twelve months to complete depending on the
level and style of hand engraving, all Custom Canes would require a 50%
deposit to get custom work started once design and layout is
finalized. I do not do detailed engraving sketches. These are
very time consuming and with over 40 years of combined experience in
hand engraving, design, layout and building of the worlds finest bespoke
custom canes I assure you of only my finest craftsmanship and attention to
