Canes is proud to add the Hiking Staff design with break down conversion and Turned Tamboti handle to their quality range. This quality Hiking staff model is built in the same tradition of distinguished craftsmanship, offering the same rapier style blade as found in the Mk2/3&4 sword cane models,  beautifully hand ground in 440c steel with standard blade length of 470mm (17") The standard length of the Hiking Staff is 55/140cm and this will suit most people of average height. The overall length can be altered with in reason.  The diameter of the Hiking Staff shaft at the top is 25mm tapering down to 21mm at the multi surface ferrule. The hiker shaft is available in matt black with woven carbon upgrade at extra cost. The release/opening action of the Hiker is designed in the 303 stainless steel collars incorporating a discreet and simple, strong quick thread lock release, with two and a half turns of the handle releasing the blade with a gentle spring action. The Hiker comes with the strong and seamless break down conversion allowing for easy transport (and shipping) Overall weight  comes in at approximately 770 gram's (28 ounces)
