One of our most popular selling models in our range!! Externally the MK1 and MK2 models look alike in design, both having the release button discreetly fitted into the top collar of handle. But the defining feature between the MK1 and MK2 models is the upgrade to an elegant rapier style hand ground double edged blade in 440c (N690) high grade custom knife steel. Hollow ground into a beautiful double sided blade, sharpened on both edges. Dimensions of blade are 5mm (3/16") thick by 14mm (9/16") wide by 450mm (17") long, tapering to a needle sharp point. Carefully hardened and tempered in our in house furnaces, then only does the time honoured process of hand polishing start to achieve the perfect matt satin finish. Now combine this beautifully hand crafted blade with the superbly smooth action of the blade fitting snugly into the hand bedded reinforced carbon shaft of the MK2 sword cane cumulating with the smooth and satisfying "click" of the hand fitted locking mechanism engaging will make your day. The Mk2 is also available in the matt black and woven carbon shafts and is sold standard with the turned Tamboti or Tee handle.
